Smoking Gun Interactive was founded in 2007 by award winning industry veterans and the creative forces behind Company of Heroes™, the highest rated Strategy game of all time.* Garnering over 45 industry awards including 9 - Best PC Game of Year and 13 - Best Strategy Game of the Year awards, Company of Heroes is currently rated 6th best PC Game of all time.
Smoking Gun's founders have over 30 years of industry experience shipping 15 products, including 9 platinum titles. They have worked together for seven years, building and leading passionate teams -- teams that stand with the very best in the industry. Over time, they realized that they shared a vision of what games could be; with Smoking Gun they have come together to build that dream.

john johnson - ceo / creative director
John has 13 years of industry experience in leadership and management positions
with the most recent credit being Producer
of Company of Heroes and was voted into the top
25 people of the year in 2006
for his work on this project. John spent 5 years at Electronic Arts Canada™ shipping
9 titles before moving to Relic Entertainment™
where he spent the next 7 years helping
grow the company into a successful triple A studio. John left Relic Entertainment
as Director of Franchise Development to found Smoking Gun Interactive Inc.
drew dunlop - cto / technical director
Drew is an 8-year veteran of Relic Entertainment where he was an instrumental contributor
to most of the titles shipped including the award winning Homeworld. Drew was recognized
as a critical leader on the technology front at Relic, with his latest
accomplishment leading the engineering
team that created Company of Heroes and its
game engine. He received the 2006 THQ™ Personal
Achievement award for his work on this.
angie pytlewski - cco / art director
Angie has been delivering critically acclaimed artwork and Art Direction for 11
years. After completing her arts degree with 7 fine arts related scholarships she began her professional career working on the award winning Need for Speed Franchise at Electronic
Arts Canada. After shipping 3 multi-platinum products there, Angie
moved to Relic Entertainment where she worked for 7 years, most recently as Art
Director building the studio's flagship
title and art team for Company of Heroes.

Ed Fries – Business Development Advisor
Ed Fries got his start in the 1980s, developing video games for the Atari 800.
In 1986, after a short detour for a BS in Computer Science, he joined Microsoft
and spent the next ten years as one of the founding developers of Excel and
Word, and then later as the creator of Microsoft Game Studios. Over the next
eight years, he grew his team from fifty to over twelve-hundred people,
published more than 100 games (including more than a dozen million-plus
sellers), co-founded the Xbox project, and made Microsoft one of the leaders in
the interactive entertainment business. In 2004, Ed left his position as Vice
President of Microsoft Game Studios and now he enjoys spending time with his
wife and young sons, as well as consulting with a broad range of publishers and
game developers from all over the world.
Curtis Terry – Finance & Operations Advisor
Curtis has over 18 years experience in corporate finance with a proven track
record of success in both Fortune 500 high growth companies and start up
technology firms. Prior to joining Sitemasher Corporation, he held the position
of Director of Strategic Planning for Electronic Arts–World Wide Studios. Curtis
was a co-founder and C.F.O. for Relic Entertainment where he was responsible for
providing financial and operational leadership until Relic was acquired by THQ
Inc in April 2004. Post acquisition he held the position of Director of Finance
& Operations where he focused on integrating the two entities while preserving
Relic’s corporate culture. Prior to Relic, he played an important role in
supporting FedEx Canada’s entry into the Canadian market where he held various
corporate finance and managerial roles over his 9 year tenure with FedEx. Curtis
holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics (Honours) from University of Victoria and
a Masters Degree in Economics from Queen’s University.
Ron Moravek – Business Development & Product Vision
Advisor
Ron is an experienced strategic executive with a proven track record of success
in high growth Fortune 500 organizations, most recently as the Vice President
and COO of Electronic Arts Canada. His ability to identify business
opportunities and to successfully execute business plans brought him into his
current position as CEO of Sitemasher Corporation. Ron brings an inspirational,
fun and empowering management style to this new company. At EA Ron oversaw a
development budget of over $100 million dollars generating revenues of close to
1 Billion dollars. Ron was a co-founder of Relic Entertainment, where his vision
and motivational leadership style helped grow that business from start up to 220
people and $30 million dollars in revenue during his tenure. Upon the sale of
Relic Entertainment to THQ, Ron assumed the Group General Manager role and was
Vice President of Development for THQ Inc. He currently sits on the Advisory
Boards for Copeman Health Care, Calgoo, Hothead Games, and Smoking Gun
Interactive and is on the Board of Directors at Ronald McDonald House.
